How do you remove radiator on golf gti mk3?

To remove the radiator on a Golf GTI Mk3, you will need the following tools:

Socket set

Wrench set

Pliers

Screwdriver

Coolant drain pan

Here are the steps involved:

Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.

Allow the engine to cool down completely.

Open the hood.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Drain the coolant from the radiator by opening the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator.

Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses by loosening the hose clamps.

Remove the fan shroud by removing the bolts that hold it in place.

Unbolt the radiator from the car.

Lift the radiator out of the car.

Discard the radiator.

To prevent your engine from overheating do note the below;

Check your coolant level regularly and add coolant when necessary.

Don't drive with a low coolant level.

Use quality coolant and change it at regular intervals.

If you notice any damage or leaks to your radiator, such as cracked or leaking radiator hoses, have them repaired or replaced as soon as possible.

Avoid over pressurizing or running on very hot engine
