How do you open the hood on a 1976 Mercedes 450sl?

1. Open the driver's door and look for the hood release lever on the left-hand side of the footwell.

2. Pull the lever to release the hood latch.

3. Go to the front of the car and locate the secondary hood latch.

4. Push down on the secondary latch and lift the hood.
