What was the carburetor made out of in first harley Davidson motorcycle?

The first Harley-Davidson motorcycle, produced in 1903, did not have a carburetor. Instead, it used a float-style vaporizer made of brass. The vaporizer mixed gasoline and air to create a combustible mixture for the engine.
