1968 mustang with vin numbers on right hand side?

1968 Mustangs did *not* have VIN numbers on the right-hand side of the vehicle. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) was located on the dash, visible through the windshield. If you're seeing numbers on the right side, they are likely something else entirely—perhaps a body tag, part number, or even an aftermarket addition.
