Who invinted the first car?
There's no single inventor of the first car, as the development was a gradual process with contributions from many people. However, Karl Benz is generally credited with inventing the first practical automobile in 1886. His Benz Patent-Motorwagen is considered the first true automobile because it was self-propelled, used an internal combustion engine, and was designed for practical use on roads. While others experimented with self-propelled vehicles before him, Benz's creation was the first to be truly successful and commercially viable.
