1. Turn the headlight knob to the "Off" position. This will help to prevent the knob from being damaged when you are removing it.
2. Locate the retaining nut that holds the headlight knob in place. The retaining nut is located on the back of the headlight knob.
3. Use a wrench to loosen the retaining nut. Loosen the retaining nut just enough so that you can remove the headlight knob from the dash.
4. Remove the headlight knob from the dash. Once the retaining nut is loose, you can pull the headlight knob straight out of the dash.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight knob. The electrical connector is located on the back of the headlight knob. Simply press down on the release tab and pull the connector apart.
