1. Remove the air filter housing.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the coolant temperature sensor.
3. Use the wrench to loosen and remove the coolant temperature sensor.
4. Apply thread sealant to the threads of the new coolant temperature sensor.
5. Carefully install the new coolant temperature sensor.
6. Tighten the coolant temperature sensor to 18 ft-lb (25 Nm).
7. Connect the electrical connector to the coolant temperature sensor.
8. Install the air filter housing.
