1. Sit in the driver's seat and close the door.
2. Look under the dashboard on the driver's side. You will see a lever with the hood release symbol.
3. Pull the lever.
4. Walk to the front of the car and lift the hood.
The hood will be held up by a prop rod. Make sure to secure the hood prop rod before working on your car.
