How do you rest the drive position of x type jaguar?

Step 1: Engage the parking brake and set the transmission to the “P” or Park position.

Step 2: Turn the ignition to the “on” position.

Step 3: Place the gear shifter in the “D” or Drive position.

Step 4: Press and hold the throttle pedal for at least 5 seconds.

Step 5: While still holding the throttle pedal, move the gear shifter from “D” to “N” to “D”.

Step 6: Release the throttle pedal.

Step 7: Turn the ignition off and back on.

Step 8: Shift into “D”, and the drive position should be reset.
