- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A flathead screwdriver
- A pair of pliers
Here are the steps on how to change the headlights:
1. Park your LeBaron in a safe location, turn off the engine, and allow the car to cool down if it has been running.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the two headlight assemblies on the front of the car.
4. Locate the three screws holding the headlight assembly in place. Two of the screws are on top and one is on the bottom.
5. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the two screws on top of the assembly.
6. Use the flat head screwdriver to pry off the bottom screw.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight assembly by pulling it straight out.
8. Remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle by pulling it straight out.
9. Repeat steps 4-8 for the other headlight assembly.
10. Take the old headlight bulbs out of the assembly by twisting them counterclockwise.
11. Insert the new headlight bulbs into the assembly by twisting them clockwise until they are secure.
12. Reattach the electrical connector to the headlight assembly.
13. Reinstall the headlight assembly into the vehicle by sliding it into place and securing it with the three screws.
14. Repeat steps 10-13 for the other headlight assembly.
15. Close the hood of your car.
