How do you change cabin filter in a Mercedes c230 coupe?

Materials Needed:

- New cabin air filter (check your owner's manual for the correct size)

- Flathead screwdriver

- Vacuum cleaner with hose attachment (optional)

Instructions:

1. Locate the cabin air filter housing. In the Mercedes C230 Coupe, the cabin air filter housing is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, behind the glove box.

2. Remove the glove box. To remove the glove box, first, open it all the way. Then, squeeze the sides of the glove box inward and pull it towards you. The glove box will come off of its hinges.

3. Locate the cabin air filter cover. The cabin air filter cover is located at the back of the glove box opening. It is a rectangular plastic panel that is held in place by two plastic clips.

4. Remove the cabin air filter cover. To remove the cabin air filter cover, use a flathead screwdriver to pry the two plastic clips out of their holes. Then, pull the cabin air filter cover off of the housing.

5. Remove the old cabin air filter. The old cabin air filter is located inside the housing. To remove it, simply pull it out of the housing.

6. Inspect the old cabin air filter. The old cabin air filter should be dirty and dusty. If it is not, then it may not be necessary to replace it.

7. Vacuum the cabin air filter housing. (optional) Use the hose attachment of a vacuum cleaner to remove any dirt or debris from the cabin air filter housing. This will help to keep the new cabin air filter clean.

8. Insert the new cabin air filter. To insert the new cabin air filter, simply slide it into the housing. Make sure that the filter is fully seated in the housing.

9. Replace the cabin air filter cover. To replace the cabin air filter cover, simply snap it back into place. Make sure that the two plastic clips are securely engaged.

10. Replace the glove box. To replace the glove box, simply slide it back into place on its hinges.
