1. Turn off the engine.
2. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is typically located in the engine compartment, near the master brake cylinder.
3. Check the brake fluid level. If the level is low, add enough brake fluid to bring it up to the "Max" mark on the reservoir.
4. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
5. Apply the brake pedal several times.
6. Turn off the engine.
7. Check the brake fluid level again. If it has gone down, add more brake fluid until it reaches the "Max" mark.
8. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
9. The brake warning light should now be off.
If the brake warning light does not go off, there may be a problem with the brake system. You should have it checked by a qualified mechanic.
