Step 1: Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels.
Step 2: Use a jack to raise the front of the vehicle and support it on jack stands.
Step 3: Remove the lug nuts and take off the front wheels.
Step 4: Locate the brake caliper on the back side of the rotor.
Step 5: Use a C-clamp or a brake caliper tool to compress the brake caliper piston until the brake pads are loose.
Step 6: Remove the two bolts holding the brake caliper in place.
Step 7: Lift the brake caliper off the rotor and place it out of the way.
Step 8: Remove the old brake pads from the caliper.
Step 9: Clean the caliper and the rotor with brake cleaner.
Step 10: Install the new brake pads in the caliper.
Step 11: Reinstall the brake caliper and tighten the bolts.
Step 12: Put the wheel back on the vehicle, put the lug nuts back on, and lower the vehicle.
Step 13: Repeat steps 3-12 for the other front wheel.
Step 14: Test the brakes by applying them several times before driving the vehicle.
