The firing order for a 1994 Chevy Astro van engine is 1-6-5-4-3-2-7-8. The distributor cap is numbered 1-8, with the number 1 terminal located at the front of the cap. The spark plug wires should be connected to the distributor cap in the following order:
* Terminal 1: Spark plug wire for cylinder 1
* Terminal 2: Spark plug wire for cylinder 6
* Terminal 3: Spark plug wire for cylinder 5
* Terminal 4: Spark plug wire for cylinder 4
* Terminal 5: Spark plug wire for cylinder 3
* Terminal 6: Spark plug wire for cylinder 2
