1. Locate the air filter housing. It is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, behind the battery.
2. Remove the cover of the air filter housing. There are two plastic clips that hold the cover in place. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry them open and remove the cover.
3. Remove the old air filter. It is located inside the housing.
4. Inspect the old air filter for dirt and debris. If it is dirty, it should be replaced.
5. Insert the new air filter into the housing. Make sure that the new air filter is installed correctly.
6. Replace the cover of the air filter housing. Make sure that the cover is securely in place.

- Change the dust and pollen filter every 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- If you drive in dusty or pollen-laden areas, you may need to change the air filter more often.
