Where is the brake light switch located on 2008 Hyundai accent 2 door hatchback?

REMOVAL:

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the floor console. For more information, refer to Floor console removal and installation.

3. Remove the brake pedal assembly.

4. Detach the electrical connector (A) from the switch (C).

5. Using pliers (B), compress the retaining clips (D) and remove the switch (C).

INSTALLATION:

1. Install the switch (C) into the bracket until the retaining clips (D) snap into position.

2. Attach the electrical connector (A) to the switch (C).

3. Install the brake pedal assembly.

4. Install the floor console. For more information, refer to Floor console removal and installation.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
