How do you remove a front bumper on 2000 Honda civic?

Tools Needed:

- Socket wrench

- Phillips head screwdriver

- Flat head screwdriver

- Pliers

- Bungee cord

Instructions:

Step 1: Park your car on level ground and turn off the engine. Open the hood and remove the two 10mm bolts holding the plastic radiator cover in place. Next, remove the four Phillips-head screws located along the top edge of the bumper, two on each side.

Step 2: Locate the two plastic push-pin retainers on each side of the bumper, near the wheel wells. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry them out and remove them. There will be two push pin retainers on each side of the vehicle, close to the wheel wells. Take your flat-blade screwdriver and pry up on the top of the push-pin, and take it out.

Step 3: Gently pry the bumper away from the car body, starting at the corners. Be careful not to damage the paint. There are a total of 11 tabs that hold the bumper in place, five on each side. Use your flat-head screwdriver to help work the bumper loose.

Step 4: Once the bumper is loose, remove any plastic clips or other fasteners that are holding it in place. Remove the parking lights by pressing in on the top, and pulling out. There will be one 10mm bolt holding it in on the bottom. There should be only one bolt. Remove it.

Step 5: The bumper is now ready to be removed from the car. To do this, simply lift it up and away from the car. Take care not to damage the paint or any of the other components of the car.

Step 6: Reinstall the bumper in the reverse order of removal.

Here are some additional tips:

- If the bumper is particularly stubborn, you may need to use a heat gun or hairdryer to loosen the adhesive that is holding it in place.

- Be careful not to drop the bumper when removing it or reinstalling it.

- Use a bungee cord to hold the bumper in place while you are working on it.

Note: Depending on the exact model and year of your 2000 Honda Civic, some aspects of this guide might be slightly different.
