Why water leak from car?

There are several possible reasons why water might leak from your car:

*Condensation from the Air Conditioner:* When the air conditioning is turned on, the system pulls in air from outside the vehicle and passes it over a cold evaporator coil. This causes the air to cool and dehumidify, and the water vapor condenses on the coil. This water is then drained away through a hose to the ground. If this hose becomes disconnected or blocked, the water can leak from the car.

*Coolant leaks: Coolant, also known as antifreeze, is a liquid that circulates through the engine and helps keep it cool. If there is a leak in the cooling system, coolant can leak from the car. Common causes of coolant leaks include:

- A damaged radiator or heater core

- A loose or cracked hose clamp

- A worn-out water pump

- A cracked or damaged cylinder head gasket

Coolant leaks can be serious because they can lead to engine overheating, which can damage the engine.

*Heater Core Leak:* The heater core is a small radiator located inside the dashboard of the vehicle. It uses the heat from the engine to warm the air inside the cabin. If there is a leak in the heater core, coolant can leak into the passenger compartment and cause a wet spot on the floor.

*Water Pump Seal Failure: The water pump circulates coolant throughout the engine cooling system. If the water pump seal fails, coolant can leak from the weep hole located on the bottom of the pump.

*Power Steering Leak:* Power steering fluid is a hydraulic fluid that assists in turning the steering wheel. If there is a leak in the power steering system, fluid can leak from the car. Common causes of power steering leaks include:

- A loose or damaged hose

- A worn-out power steering pump seal

- A cracked or damaged power steering reservoir

*Windshield Washer Fluid Leaks:* Windshield washer fluid is used to clean the windshield of the vehicle. If there is a leak in the windshield washer system, fluid can leak from the car. Common causes of windshield washer fluid leaks include:

- A loose or damaged hose

- A cracked or damaged windshield washer reservoir

- A faulty windshield washer pump

If you notice water leaking from your car, it is important to identify the source of the leak and have it repaired as soon as possible.
