How do you remove the front bumper on a 1989 Toyota 4x4 pickup?

To remove the front bumper on a 1989 Toyota 4x4 pickup, you will need the following tools:

- A set of wrenches

- A screwdriver

- A pry bar

- A floor jack and jack stands

Here are the steps involved in removing the front bumper:

1. Engage the parking brake and chock the rear wheels.

2. Use the floor jack and jack stands to raise the front of the truck until the wheels are off the ground.

3. Locate the bumper mounting bolts on the sides of the bumper. There should be one on each side, but some truck modifications can hide/relocate these bolts.

4. Use the wrenches to loosen and remove the bumper mounting bolts.

5. Pry the bumper off of the vehicle using the pry bar. Work your way around the bumper until it is completely detached.

6. Remove the plastic caps on the ends of the bumper.

7. Remove the four nuts that hold the bumper brackets in place.

8. Remove the bumper brackets.

9. Lower the truck using the floor jack.

The front bumper is now removed.
