There are thousands of different car models in existence. The exact number is difficult to determine as new car models are introduced every year, while older models are discontinued. According to some estimates, there are over 100,000 car models that have ever been produced. However, this number includes all car models, regardless of whether or not they are still in production. If we only consider car models that are currently in production, the number is closer to 15,000.
