Locate the hood release lever inside the cab. It is usually located on the driver's side, near the floor.
Pull the hood release lever to release the hood.
Go to the front of the truck and lift the hood up.
There may be a secondary latch or safety catch that needs to be released before the hood can be fully lifted.
Once the hood is lifted, you will have access to the engine compartment.
