Instructions for tightening the chain:

1. Park the ATV on a level surface. Turn off the engine.

2. Loosen the two nuts on the chain tensioner using a 12mm wrench.

3. Turn the chain tensioner bolt clockwise using a 14mm wrench to tighten the chain.

4. Tighten the chain tensioner nuts until they are snug.

5. Check the chain tension by pushing up and down on the chain with your hand. The chain should have about 1 inch of play.

6. If the chain is too tight, loosen the chain tensioner nuts and turn the chain tensioner bolt counterclockwise to loosen the chain.

7. If the chain is too loose, tighten the chain tensioner nuts and turn the chain tensioner bolt clockwise to tighten the chain.

8. Repeat steps 4-7 until the chain tension is correct.
