1. Park the lawn mower on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down completely.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Remove the spark plug wire or ignition key to prevent the mower from accidentally starting.
4. Locate the mower deck underneath the mower housing. There will be two brackets holding the blades in place.
5. Use a wrench or socket set to loosen and remove the bolts that secure the blade brackets to the mower deck.
6. Once the bolts are removed, you can remove the blade brackets and the blades will come off with them.
7. Inspect the blades for any damage or wear. If they are damaged or worn, replace them with new ones.
8. Reinstall the blades and blade brackets in the reverse order that you removed them.
9. Tighten the bolts securely to ensure that the blades are securely attached.
10. Reconnect the spark plug wire or insert the ignition key.
11. Start the mower and check that the blades are turning properly.
