1. Park the lawn mower on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug to prevent the engine from starting accidentally.
3. Use a lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the rear wheel. Do not remove the lug nuts completely.
4. Use a jack to lift the rear of the lawn mower until the rear wheel is off the ground.
5. Remove the lug nuts and take off the rear wheel.
To reinstall the rear wheel, follow these steps:
1. Place the rear wheel on the hub and put on the lug nuts.
2. Lower the lawn mower until the rear wheel is resting on the ground.
3. Tighten the lug nuts with a lug wrench.
4. Reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
If you are not comfortable performing this task, you may want to take your lawn mower to a qualified repair shop.
