Locate the oil filter
- The oil filter is located in the front of the motorcycle.
Remove the oil filter cover.
- Use the oil filter wrench to remove the oil filter cover.
- It is located next to the oil dipstick.
Remove the oil filter
- Use your hand to loosen and remove the oil filter. Be careful not to spill any oil.
- It is located below the oil filter cover.
Install the new oil filter
- Hand-tighten the new oil filter until it is snug.
- Do not over-tighten the oil filter.
Replace the oil filter cover.
- Screw on oil filter cover until it is snug.
- Do not over-tighten the oil filter cover.
Check the oil level
- Use the oil dipstick to check the oil level.
- The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
Add oil if necessary
- If the oil level is low, add enough oil to bring it up to the "Full" mark on the dipstick.
- Use a funnel to add oil.
Start the motorcycle and let it run for a few minutes.
- This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine and ensure that it is properly lubricated.
