1. Place the motorcycle on its center stand or have someone hold it upright for you.
2. Locate the seat lock mechanism on the left side of the bike, just behind the fuel tank.
3. Insert the key into the lock and turn it counterclockwise to unlock it.
4. Pull up on the seat to remove it from the bike.
To reinstall the seat, simply align it with the mounting brackets on the bike and push down until it locks into place.
