1. Add gas: This is the crucial first step. Locate a gas station and fill the tank. It may take a few minutes for the fuel to reach the engine.
2. Turn the key (or press the start button): Once you've added sufficient fuel, turn the ignition key to the "on" position (or press the start button if it's a push-button start system). Then, turn the key to the "start" position (or hold the start button) to crank the engine.
If it doesn't start immediately, try again after waiting a few seconds. Sometimes the fuel pump needs a moment to prime. If it still doesn't start after a few attempts, there might be a separate issue, such as a dead battery (from repeated attempts to start), or another problem unrelated to the lack of fuel.
