After installing O2 sensor before and after the catalyct converter my windshield wipers in Honda Prelude Type SH do not work how is this possible?

There's no direct electrical or mechanical connection between O2 sensors and windshield wipers in a Honda Prelude (or any car, for that matter). The fact that your wipers stopped working after installing O2 sensors is purely coincidental. The problem is unrelated.

Here are the more likely reasons your wipers aren't working:

* Fuse: Check the fuse related to the windshield wipers in your car's fuse box. A blown fuse is the most common cause of this type of failure.

* Wipers Switch: The switch on your steering column might be faulty. Try wiggling it gently to see if that temporarily restores function.

* Wiper Motor: The wiper motor itself could have failed. This is less likely if the fuse is intact, but possible.

* Wiring Issue: A wire related to the wiper system could be damaged or disconnected, possibly during the O2 sensor installation (though this is less likely unless a wire was physically severed). Check all the connections in the wiper system, including the motor and switch.

* Relay: There might be a relay controlling the wiper motor that has failed.

* Low Battery Voltage: A very low battery voltage could cause intermittent operation of accessories like wipers.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Check the fuse: This is the absolute first thing to do. Consult your owner's manual for the location of the fuse box and the correct fuse for the wipers.

2. Inspect the wiper switch: Try the switch repeatedly. If it feels loose or unresponsive, it could be the culprit.

3. Check the wiper motor: Listen carefully near the motor while someone operates the wiper switch. You should hear a clicking sound (from the relay) and the motor should hum or spin. If not, the motor is likely the problem.

4. Inspect wiring: Carefully examine all the wires connected to the wiper motor, switch, and any relays associated with the wiper system. Look for damage, loose connections, or corrosion.

The O2 sensor installation was purely coincidental. Focus your troubleshooting efforts on the wiper system itself. If you're not comfortable working on car electrical systems, take your car to a mechanic.
