Option 2: Locate and disconnect the seat belt chime harness.
1. Turn off the engine and allow the car to cool down.
2. Open the driver's side door and locate the seat belt chime harness. It is usually located under the driver's seat, near the B-pillar.
3. Disconnect the harness by pressing on the release tab and pulling the connector apart.
4. Close the door and start the engine. The seat belt chime should be disabled
