Why is the computer on a 97 Grand Cherokee showing rear light failure when all have had new bulbs and are working?
1. One lightbulb may not be properly installed/working correctly. Inspect all rear lightbulbs again.
2. There may be an electrical grounding issue with one of the tail lights/bulbs causing an erratic signal causing false reading. Inspect electrical system in depth.
