How do you disengage anti theft system on 1999 Buick Park Avenue?

1. Insert the valet key into the ignition and turn it to the “ON” position. The theft system light will begin to flash.

2. Press and hold the “UNLOCK” button on the key fob for at least 10 seconds. The theft system light will go out.

3. Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position and remove the valet key.

4. Start the vehicle with the master key. The theft system will be disengaged.
