How do you shift 2000 Jeep Cherokee into 4 wheel drive?

To shift a 2000 Jeep Cherokee into 4-wheel drive, follow these steps:

1. Park your vehicle on a level surface.

2. Apply the parking brake.

3. Shift the transmission into neutral.

4. Open the driver's door.
