Put the transmission into neutral.

Step 3: Move the transfer case shift lever to 4H.
Firmly move the transfer case shift lever from 2H to 4H.
You may need to apply a little force to move the lever into the 4H position.
Step 4: Shift the transmission into gear.
Shift the transmission into the desired gear once the transfer case is in 4H.
Do not shift into 4H while the transmission is in gear, as this may cause damage to the transfer case.
