How do you get the rivet out of interior door handle assembly drivers side front a 1999 Chevy Tahoe?

1. Locate the rivet. The rivet that holds the door handle assembly in place is located on the inside of the door, behind the door panel.

2. Remove the door panel. To remove the door panel, you will need to remove the screws that hold it in place. There are usually two or three screws located around the edges of the door panel.

3. Once the door panel is removed, you will be able to see the rivet that holds the door handle assembly in place.

4. To remove the rivet, drill a hole through the center of the rivet head.

Be sure to use a bit that is the same size or slightly smaller than the rivet.

5. Once the rivet has been drilled through the head, you will be able to pry it out of the hole with a screwdriver or punch.

6. Once the rivet has been removed, you will be able to remove the door handle assembly.

7. Reinstall the rivet with a new one when reinstalling the door handle assembly.
