1. Gather the necessary tools and parts.

- A socket wrench set
- A pry bar
- A hammer
- A new hub assembly
- A new wheel bearing
- A bottle jack
- Jack stands
- Safety glasses
2. Prepare the car.
- Park the car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
- Chock the front wheels.
- Jack up the rear of the car until the tire is off the ground.
- Place jack stands under the car to support it.
3. Remove the wheel.
- Use the socket wrench to loosen the lug nuts.
- Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
4. Remove the brake caliper.
- Using the socket wrench, remove the bolts holding the brake caliper to the hub.
- Remove the brake caliper and hang it out of the way with a piece of wire.
5. Remove the hub assembly.
- Using a pry bar and a hammer, pry the hub assembly off of the axle.
- Be careful not to damage the axle or the hub assembly.
6. Install the new hub assembly.
- Place the new hub assembly on the axle.
- Using the pry bar and hammer, tap the hub assembly into place.
7. Install the new wheel bearing.
- Press the new wheel bearing into the hub assembly.
- Use a hammer and a block of wood to tap the bearing into place.
8. Install the brake caliper.
- Reattach the brake caliper to the hub using the bolts you removed earlier.
- Tighten the bolts until snug.
9. Install the wheel.
- Place the wheel on the hub and secure it with the lug nuts.
- Tighten the lug nuts until snug.
10. Lower the car.
- Slowly lower the car until it is back on the ground.
11. Test drive the car.
- Take the car for a test drive to make sure that the repair is complete and that the hub assembly is working properly.
