Procedure:
1. Park your Sienna on a level surface. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down. Engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the oil drain plug. It is usually located on the bottom of the oil pan.
3. Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.
4. Loosen the oil drain plug using a wrench. Be careful not to drop the bolt into the oil pan. Allow all of the old oil to drain out.
5. Replace the oil drain plug. Tighten it securely using a wrench.
6. Locate the oil filter. It is usually located near the top of the engine.
7. Remove the oil filter by turning it counterclockwise using a wrench. Be careful not to spill any oil.
8. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
9. Screw on the new oil filter until it is snug. Do not overtighten it.
10. Open the hood of your Sienna.
11. Locate the oil fill cap. It is usually located on the top of the engine.
12. Remove the oil fill cap.
13. Insert the funnel into the oil fill hole.
14. Pour the new oil into the funnel. Add the amount of oil specified in your owner's manual.
15. Replace the oil fill cap.
16. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
17. Turn off the engine and check the oil level using the dipstick. The oil level should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the dipstick.
18. If necessary, add more oil until the level is correct.
Additional Tips:
- Change the oil in your Sienna every 3,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first.
- If you drive in dusty or dirty conditions, you may need to change the oil more frequently.
- Always use the type of oil specified in your owner's manual.
- Do not overfill the engine with oil. This can damage the engine.
- Make sure to properly dispose of the old oil and oil filter.
