Can you adjust the timing on a 2002 Mitsubishi diamente?

There is no distributor on a 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante to adjust. The ignition timing cannot be physically adjusted; the timing is controlled by the engine control unit (ECU). The timing is computer controlled by a camshaft position sensor to keep it at peak engine efficiency all the time.
