2. Remove Timing Cover and Components:
- Remove the serpentine belt and tensioner to gain access to the timing chain.

3. Crankshaft and Camshaft Alignment:
- Ensure that the engine is at Top Dead Center (TDC) of the compression stroke. You can do this by aligning timing marks on the crankshaft pulley with a reference mark on the engine block.

4. Remove Old Timing Chain:
- Remove the old timing chain by removing the tensioner bolt and sliding the old chain off the sprockets.
