- New oil pan gasket.
- Oil pan gasket glue (optional).
- Oil drain plug and gasket.
- Oil filter.
- Jack and jack stands.
- Oil filter wrench.
- Socket set.
- Flat head screwdriver.
Procedure:
1. Park your car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Raise your car using a jack and jack stands.
3. Locate the oil pan. It will be located under the engine.
4. Clean the oil pan. Remove any dirt, grime, or old gasket material from the oil pan.
5. Apply a thin layer of oil pan gasket glue to both sides of the new oil pan gasket.
6. Place the new oil pan gasket in position. Make sure that the gasket is properly aligned.
7. Install the oil pan bolts and tighten them in a crisscross pattern.
8. Lower your car off the jack stands.
9. Fill the engine with new oil.
10. Start the engine and check for leaks.
