Instructions:
1. Disconnect the battery. This is a safety precaution to prevent accidental electrical shock.
2. Locate the wiper motor. The wiper motor is usually located under the hood of your vehicle, near the windshield.
3. Identify the wires that connect to the wiper motor. There will be two wires, one for power and one for ground.
4. Cut the power wire to the wiper motor.
5. Connect one end of the toggle switch to the power wire that you cut in step 4.
6. Connect the other end of the toggle switch to the power source.
7. Connect the ground wire of the wiper motor to a ground point on the vehicle's chassis.
8. Close the hood and reconnect the battery.
9. Test the wiper switch by turning it on and off. The wipers should work normally.
Tips:
- Use a waterproof toggle switch if you are installing it in an exposed area.
- Use an appropriate wire gauge for the amperage of the wiper motor.
- Secure all electrical connections with electrical tape or crimp connectors.
