- Two working keys
- A screwdriver
- A Torx T30 bit
- New battery compatible with your Mercedes key fob
Instructions:
1. Put the key in position 2. To do this, turn the key to the right once and then back, just enough to unlock the steering wheel. Do not start the vehicle.
2. Wait 3 seconds and unlock the central lock. Do so using the button on your dashboard
3. Remove the key from the ignition and wait 10 seconds.
4. Press and hold the "Unlock" button on your working key. Hold it for 5 seconds, then release.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 with your second working key.
6. Insert your new key into the ignition. This should program your key fob to your car.
7. Test the keys by locking and unlocking the car Make sure they both work properly. If not, you may need to repeat the process.
Your key fob should now be reprogrammed. If it still doesn't work, you may need to take your car to a dealership or locksmith for further assistance.
