Why does my right rear tire sound like it had something stuck in and was getting kicked out?

Potential causes:

1. Foreign object lodged in the tire tread: Check the tire for nails, screws, or other objects that may have lodged in the tread and are being expelled while driving.

2. Damaged tire tread: Worn or damaged tread, such as cuts or gouges, can produce similar sounds. Inspect the tire tread for abnormalities.

3. Faulty wheel bearing: A failing wheel bearing may produce grinding or whirring sounds. Check for any play or wobble in the wheel when the lug nuts are loosened but still hand-tight.

4. Loose or missing lug nuts: If the lug nuts on the right rear tire are loose or missing, the wheel can wobble, creating banging or thumping sounds. Check all lug nuts to ensure they are tight.

5. Damaged brake components: Warped brake rotors or worn brake pads can generate rubbing or squealing sounds while driving. Inspect the brake rotors and pads for wear or damage.
