Step 2: Park your car in a safe, well-lit area and turn off the engine
Step 3: Open the hood of your car
Step 4: Locate the headlight assembly
The headlight assembly is located behind the plastic headlight cover. To remove the plastic headlight cover, use the flat-head screwdriver to pry the cover off. Be careful not to damage the cover.
Step 5: Disconnect the electrical connector
Behind the headlight cover, you will see the headlight assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector by pinching the tabs on the sides of the connector and pulling it straight out.
Step 6: Remove the old headlight
Use the socket wrench to loosen the bolts holding the headlight in place. There are three bolts on each headlight assembly. Once the bolts are loosened, you can remove the old headlight by pulling it straight out of the assembly. Be careful not to drop the headlight.
Step 7: Install the new headlight
Insert the new headlight into the assembly and secure it with the bolts you removed earlier. Tighten the bolts until they are snug.
Step 8: Reconnect the electrical connector
Reconnect the electrical connector by pushing it back into the socket until you hear a click.
Step 9: Close the hood of your car.
