Rear wheel grinding when driving stops braking?

Causes:

- Brake pads are worn and need replacing.

- The caliper is sticking and not releasing the brake pads.

- The brake hose is kinked or blocked, preventing fluid from flowing properly.

- The master cylinder is faulty and not providing enough pressure to the brakes.

- Rotor is warped

- Wheel bearing is damaged

Repairs

- Replace the brake pads and or rotor if needed

- Clean and lubricate the caliper

- Replace the brake hose

- Replace the master cylinder

- Replace the wheel bearing
