How do you adjust the tps on a Chrysler 3.0 engine?

To adjust the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on a Chrysler 3.0L engine, follow these steps:

1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

2. Locate the TPS. It is usually mounted on the throttle body.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the TPS.

4. Remove the two bolts that hold the TPS in place.

5. Remove the TPS from the throttle body.

6. Inspect the TPS for damage. If the TPS is damaged, replace it.

7. Reinstall the TPS in the throttle body.

8. Hand-tighten the two bolts that hold the TPS in place.

9. Connect the electrical connector to the TPS.

10. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

11. Check the TPS voltage with a multimeter. The TPS voltage should be between 0.5 and 4.5 volts.

12. If necessary, adjust the TPS voltage by turning the adjustment screw on the TPS.

13. Once the TPS voltage is set, tighten the two bolts that hold the TPS in place.

14. Test the TPS by opening and closing the throttle. The TPS voltage should change smoothly as the throttle is opened and closed.
