Here are the steps on how to remove the starter:
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Raise the front of the truck and support it on jack stands.
3. Remove the starter relay.
4. Locate the starter. It is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the bottom.
5. Remove the two nuts that hold the starter to the engine.
6. Use a pry bar to pry the starter away from the engine.
7. Unplug the electrical connector from the starter.
8. Remove the starter from the truck.
To install the new starter, simply reverse the steps listed above.
