2. Sprinkle the grease stain with baking soda. Let the baking soda sit on the stain for at least 30 minutes.
3. Vacuum up the baking soda.
4. Apply a degreaser to the stain. You can use a commercial degreaser or make your own by mixing equal parts dish soap and water.
5. Blot the stain with a clean cloth until the grease is removed.
6. Rinse the area with water.
7. Blot the area dry.
8. If the stain persists, repeat steps 2-7.
