1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position.
2. Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the key fob for at least 5 seconds.
3. While still holding the "Unlock" button, press and hold the "Lock" button for at least 5 seconds.
4. Release both buttons simultaneously.
5. Turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition.
6. Wait for at least 30 seconds.
7. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position. The immobilizer system should now be reset.
If the immobilizer system is still not reset, you may need to take your vehicle to a Hyundai dealer to have it reset.
