The Series 6 and Series 63 licenses can be renewed online through FINRA's website in the following ways:
* If you receive a reminder email from FINRA at the provided email address,
- Click the link in the email and follow the instructions on the webpage.
- Provide the required information, including payment information, and the renewal process will be completed.
* Go to FINRA's website (www.finra.org) and:
- Log in to your FINRA account.
- Click on the "My Profile" tab.
- Under "Licenses and Registrations," click on the "Renew" button next to the series 6 and 63 licenses.
- Provide the required information, including payment information, and the renewal process will be completed.
You may also renew your series 6 and 63 licenses by submitting paper renewal form available on FINRA's website for a $65 fee.
Renewal Requirements:
* $100 renewal fee for each license.
* Continuing education (CE) credits, as applicable.
* Passing a proficiency test.
Note: If you do not renew your licenses within the required time frame, they may become expired. Once your licenses are expired, you may need to take and pass the Series 6, and Series 63 exams again to regain them.
