- Replacement Side Mirror Lamp
- Phillips-Head Screwdriver
- Flat-Head Screwdriver (Optional)
Instructions:
1. Park the Vehicle:
- Park the Mercedes Benz E320 on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Locate the Side Mirror:
- Identify the side mirror with the faulty lamp.
3. Remove the Mirror Glass:
- Using a Phillips-Head screwdriver, remove the screws securing the mirror glass to the mirror housing.
- Gently pry the mirror glass loose using your fingers or a flat-head screwdriver (be careful not to break the glass).
4. Access the Lamp Housing:
- Once the mirror glass is removed, you'll gain access to the lamp housing located behind it.
5. Remove the Old Lamp:
- Locate the old lamp socket within the housing.
- Twist the lamp socket counterclockwise to release and remove it.
- Remove the faulty lamp from the socket.
6. Install the New Lamp:
- Take the replacement lamp and insert it into the socket.
- Twist the socket clockwise to secure it in place.
7. Reattach the Mirror Glass:
- Carefully align the mirror glass back onto the mirror housing.
- Secure the mirror glass using the screws you removed earlier.
8. Test the Lamp:
- Turn on the vehicle's lights to test if the new side mirror lamp is functioning properly.
9. Clean the Area:
- Clean any debris or fingerprints left during the process.
10. Enjoy the Restored Illumination:
- Your Mercedes Benz E320's side mirror lamp should now be successfully replaced.
